We’re committed to enhancing the economic well-being of the communities where we live and work, with a focus on giving less-advantaged people the skills they need to succeed.
In the Channel Islands, we’re embracing State Street’s global philosophy of operating responsibly within the local community. In Jersey and Guernsey, we take great pride in contributing volunteer hours, offering charitable grants and sponsoring events, wherever we can.
Through our volunteer program, we help community organisations draw on the resources and talents of our employees. Over the past year, we’ve worked closely with our communities — at soup kitchens, animal shelters, botanical gardens and more — and we’ve sponsored charitable fundraising events.
In 2015, our teams in the Channel Islands contributed approximately 800 volunteer hours through a variety of community initiatives.
Matching Gift Program
With our Matching Gift Program, we help our employees make life even better with their charitable donations in three ways:
- GiveMore matches financial contributions to charitable or educational institutions
- CollectMore matches fulfilled pledges for fundraising events
- DoMore provides grants as a match for volunteer efforts with a charitable organisation
Through our charitable arm, the State Street Foundation, we make grants to nonprofits and nongovernmental organisations in 26 countries. The Foundation is keenly focused on opportunities to enhance education and workforce development throughout our worldwide locations.
Could You Qualify For a Grant?
To be considered for our grants, please read our guidelines to see if your organisation qualifies for funding. Once you have determined you are eligible, you will need to complete a Preliminary Grant Application and submit it to email@example.com for consideration.
Global Inclusion and Employee Networks
As a global company, we value the variety of experiences, interests and capabilities that make our employees unique. In Jersey and Guernsey, our employees manage many networks and groups where they come together around a common goal, share their unique perspectives and increase their visibility across the company. These initiatives also create opportunities for employee networking and professional development.
