Senior Vice President, Managing Director of State Street Banque S.A. and head of the Investment Manager Services (IMS) business for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA)
Raphaël Remond is the executive business lead responsible for the strategic development of investment services activities in France, Spain and Portugal. He also oversees the operations outsourcing business for EMEA.
Mr. Remond joined the company in 1996 as vice president and head of Fund Administration of State Street Bank Luxembourg S.A. He moved to Germany in 2001 where he was chief operating officer and managing director (Geschäftsführer) of State Street Bank GmbH.
Prior to his career at State Street, Mr. Remond held positions at various banks of international renown.
He is a member of the « Association Française de la Gestion Financière » (AFG) and the « Association Française des Professionnels des Titres » (AFTI). He is also a member of the « the Comité des Sages » of the Samusocial and serves in the Board of the Samusocial International.
Mr. Remond holds a master’s degree in econometrics from the University of Louis Pasteur, Strasbourg. He continued his studies at the renowned University Lumière Lyon 2, where he obtained a master’s degree in organization & control of financial markets activities.
Deputy Managing Director of State Street Banque S.A.
Alain Diaz has been with State Street for more than 23 years. He joined the company in 1993 as the head of Finance. He subsequently held the positions of head of Internal Control, head of Depositary Control, head of Operations and Information Technology, and finally head of Special Banking Projects.
Mr. Diaz was appointed deputy managing director of State Street Banque S.A. in 2000 and remained in that role until he became managing director in 2004 for the asset management business. With the development of Investor Services activities in France, Mr. Diaz relinquished his responsibilities regarding asset management the following year to focus on his new role as deputy managing director.
Mr. Diaz started his career at Calan Ramolino & Associés in 1985, a chartered accountants and auditors firm, and held the position of director of the Banking and Insurance Department.
Mr. Diaz has a master’s degree in business law from the university Paris I Assas and holds a diploma in French certified public accounting.
Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of State Street Banque S.A.
Bruno Noyon is responsible for the middle- and back-office operations activities for State Street in France. He joined State Street in December 2004, following the transfer of AXA IM's middle- and back-office functions.
Between 1999 and 2004, he developed the Performance & Reporting activity at AXA IM, playing a global role in this international organization.
From 1991 to 1999, Mr. Noyon was head of Treasury at Banque Rothschild & Cie, before becoming head of the Fixed Income & Derivatives desk at Rothschild & Cie Gestion.
After completing his studies, he joined the group Concept SA Division Banque & Finance Internationale as a consultant on the middle- and back-office platform for futures and options, working first in France and then in Italy.
Mr. Noyon has a unique combination of expertise in front-office asset management, where he worked for nearly nine years, and a broad range of middle- and back-office services.
Mr. Noyon graduated with a Master of Sciences and Management, Finance option, from Paris IX Dauphine University in 1988.
Vice President and Head of Business Development of State Street Banque S.A.
Stéphanie Gaudoux has been responsible for the business development of State Street in France and the primary contact for French institutional investor clients since 2010.
Ms. Gaudoux has more than 15 years of experience in sales, working for companies of international renown in the finance sector.
Ms. Gaudoux started her career at IBM France in 2001. She worked in close cooperation with the sales department and their clients and was initially responsible for marketing and internal and external communication. She then held the position of Business Engineer, responsible for the financial market subsidiaries of Crédit Agricole/Crédit Lyonnais (corporate and investment banking, asset management, private banking and international subsidiaries).
From 2007 to 2010, Ms. Gaudoux spent three years at BNP Paribas Securities Services as a sales and relationship manager responsible for the institutional clients.
Ms. Gaudoux holds a diploma with honors from NEOMA Business School (formerly the ECOLE SUPERIEURE DE COMMERCE DE REIMS/Reims Management School). She is also a graduate of the IBM Global Sales School (2004).
