Executive Vice President, Co-Head of Global Services EMEA
Susan Dargan is an executive vice president and co-head of State Street Global Services in EMEA. She is responsible for advancing the company’s cross-border growth strategy in Ireland, Luxembourg and the Channel Islands and provides regional oversight to Alternative Investment Services (AIS) and International Financial Data Services (IFDS), State Street’s transfer agency joint venture with DST. Susan is also a member of the EMEA Management Committee.
She joined State Street International (Ireland) Limited in 2003 as head of Investment Services.
Susan is a director of State Street companies across Europe, authorised to act as a director by the regulators in Ireland, UK and Luxembourg, respectively the Central Bank of Ireland, the Financial Conduct Authority, and Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier. She is engaged in industry association and government committee memberships in Ireland.
Senior Vice President, Head of Global Services Ireland and the Channel Islands
Tadhg Young is the head of Global Services Ireland and is also responsible for State Street’s traditional fund servicing business in the Channel Islands. Previously, he had been the chief operating officer of State Street International (Ireland) Limited since 2012. Prior to joining State Street in 2007, Tadhg was also the head of Trustee, Custody and Middle Office Servicing with IBT Ireland.
Previously, Tadhg was the managing director at Allianz Global Investors Ireland. He also worked for Dresdner Bank where he headed the fund administration group and later became head of Operations for banking and fund services. Tadhg qualified as a chartered accountant while working as a tax consultant with PriceWaterhouseCoopers.
Tadhg is currently a member of the Council of Irish Funds and served as Chair of the Industry Body for 2015-2016.
He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland and a member of the Irish Taxation Institute.
Senior Managing Director, Head of State Street Global Advisors Ireland
Peter Wood is a member of SSGA's European executive committee and senior leadership team. Peter has more than 30 years’ experience in the investment industry, many of them with SSGA Ireland.
Prior to his appointment as head of SSGA Ireland, Peter held a number of senior roles, including chief operating officer and head of the Irish customer business, with responsibility for pension funds, charity, corporate and retail clients.
Prior to joining SSGA Ireland in 1985, Peter spent the previous five years with Allied Irish Investment Managers as a portfolio manager/client relationship manager. He is a board member of the Irish Association of Investment Managers.
Senior Managing Director, Head of AIS EMEA
Bob Keogh is senior managing director and head of State Street’s Alternative Investment Solutions group in EMEA since June 2016. He is responsible for State Street’s AIS group in EMEA, supporting the hedge fund, private equity and real estate businesses in the region and providing support for State Street’s global client base.
Bob has more than two decades of experience in financial services, the last 18 of which have been in the alternatives fund industry, working in the Americas, Europe and Asia. Most recently, he was head of AIS for Asia Pacific where he drove significant growth in the business. Prior to that, he worked for State Street’s International Fund Services (IFS) division in Dublin and was responsible for managing hedge-fund servicing funds teams in Europe and Asia.
Bob joined State Street in 2012 as part of State Street’s acquisition of Goldman Sachs Administration Services (GSAS). At GSAS, he ran the business for Europe and Asia, establishing offices for GSAS in Ireland, Hong Kong and Singapore. He was also chief executive officer of Goldman Sachs Bank Europe PLC from April 2009 to September 2012.
Bob is a fellow member of Chartered Accountants Ireland and a CFA Charterholder.
Senior Managing Director, Head of Hedge Fund Services EMEA
Stephen Johnston is responsible for State Street’s hedge fund business in EMEA. He has more than 26 years’ experience in the financial services industry spanning fund accounting, investor servicing, quality assurance and regulatory reporting.
Stephen has managed the State Street office in Drogheda since its opening in 2005 and he also managed the Investor Servicing and Global Regulatory Reporting groups for the Alternatives division. In 2008, he helped establish State Street’s alternatives operation in Krakow.
Stephen is a fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants. He commenced his career in London in 1989 and returned to Dublin in 1993 working in audit and accountancy practice. Stephen has a master’s degree in history from Trinity College Dublin.
