State Street offers a variety of paid internship and cooperative
education programs for undergraduate students, including
active roles within Investor Services, Information Technology
and Facilities Management. In each position, our internship
and co-op students are given real responsibilities, challenged
daily, and encouraged to learn through their participatory
work experience.
Internships
Investor Services - Internship Program
The goal of our Investor Services Internship Program is
to provide college students with three months of professional
work experience as Mutual Fund Portfolio
Administrators.
In this role, you’ll get a real feel for the demands
of a career in mutual funds, as well as the opportunity
to meet our State Street experts who are already on that
career path.
Training
New hire training, which may vary across each position,
is conducted in three phases, with a combination of formal
classroom instruction, on-the-job training and multimedia
education tools and resources.

Experience
Your internship duties may include cash reporting, multicurrency
cash processing, cap stock processing, trade settlement
processing, corporate actions, income collection and processing,
and weekly and monthly reporting. Successful candidates
will have good organizational skills, be deadline and detail
oriented, will possess strong communication skills, be proficient
in Microsoft office and have the ability to work as a team
player. Some overtime may be required.

Investor Services Co-op Opportunities
State Street offers six-month co-op positions within our
Investor Services division. In this role, you will receive
comprehensive training, work closely with financial service
professionals, and get hands-on work experience.
