State Street ranked No. 1 overall in the R & M UK Unit Trust Trustee Survey, which measures the customer satisfaction of United Kingdom Unit Trusts and OEICs (Open-Ended Investment Companies) with respect to the services provided to them by independent trustees. (December 2009)

International Custody and Fund Administration magazine Recognizes State Street
The International Custody and Fund Administration (ICFA) Awards recognize, highlight and reward excellence and specific achievement throughout many sectors of the international investment back office. State Street won the European Securities Lender of the Year and European Transfer Agent of the Year categories at the 2009 ICFA European Awards. (November 2009)

State Street Wins at Asian Investor Service Provider Awards
State Street was named Best Securities Lending Agent and Best Transition Manager at the Asian Investor Service Provider Awards, which recognize top financial institutions in the Asia-Pacific region in custody and fund administration, among other categories. (October 2009)

State Street Takes Top Honors in ISF Equity Lending Survey
For the second consecutive year, State Street ranked No. 1 in the two top categories in International Securities Finance magazine’s 2009 Equity Lending Survey: Overall (Unweighted) and Weighted by Importance to Counterparty. The Survey focuses on the securities lending industry and is a major benchmark for that market. (September 2009)

State Street Leads in Fund Accounting and Administration
For the second consecutive year, State Street ranked No. 1 overall in the R & M Fund Accounting and Administration Survey, which allows UK-based fund managers to rank their onshore and offshore funds service providers. (July 2009)

State Street Ranks First Among Mutual Fund Administrators
State Street ranked No. 1 out of 8 globally in the Global Custodian Mutual Fund Administration Survey and received 52 Best in Class Awards. (July 2009)

State Street Global Advisors Wins at European Pensions Awards
SSgA won in the Currency Manager of the Year category and was highly commended in the Investment Manager of the Year category in the 2009 European Pensions Awards. The Awards recognize outstanding achievement in the various fields of European pension provision. (July 2009)

State Street Global Advisors Maintains Rankings in the Pensions & Investments Money Managers Survey
For the eighth consecutive year, SSgA ranked as the world’s largest institutional money manager in the Pensions & Investments Money Managers Survey. In addition, SSgA ranked as the No. 1 manager of US institutional tax-exempt assets, the No. 1 manager of defined benefit assets and the No. 1 manager of endowment assets. (May 2009)

Boston Globe Rates State Street as No. 1 Financial Services Company in Massachusetts
The Globe 100 ranks the top 100 Massachusetts-based public companies by how well they increased sales, profits, and returns for shareholders. In 2009, State Street ranked as the No. 1 financial services company and the No. 2 company overall. State Street has ranked on the list every year since its inception in 1988. (May 2009)

State Street Recognized Globally by International Custody and Fund Administration Magazine
The ICFA Awards recognize, highlight and reward excellence and specific achievement throughout many sectors of the international investment back office. In 2009, State Street was named Global Securities Lender and Global Private Equity Fund Administrator of the Year. (May 2009)

State Street Global Advisors Wins at Global ETF Awards
SSgA was honored for its exchange-traded funds (ETFs) at the 2009 Global ETF Awards, winning the Most Recognized ETF Brand Award for SPDR and the Most Informative ETF Website Award for www.spdrs.com. (May 2009)

Global Link Wins in Profit & Loss FX Awards
State Street's Global Link was named Best Real Money Platform in the 2009 Profit & Loss FX Awards. (April 2009)

State Street won the Best in Securities Lending categoryin The Asset magazine’sTriple A Transaction Banking Awards. (March 2009).

Top Asian Asset Management Publication Honors State Street
State Street won awards in the Best Securities Lending House (Regional), Hong Kong Best Institutional House (country-specific) and Hong Kong Best Community Service (country-specific) categories at the 2009 Asia Asset Management Best of the Best Awards. (January 2009)

State Street Honored with Prestigious European Awards
State Street won the European Transfer Agent of the Year and European Hedge Fund Administrator of the Year categories, and received a special commendation in the European Technology & Trading Provider of the Year (Back Office) category in the 2008 Funds Europe Awards. (December 2008)

State Street won the European Mutual Fund Administrator of the Year category at the 2008 ICFA European Awards. (November 2008)

ASecurities Lending Success Story
State Street ranked No. 2 overall out of 10, as well as No. 1 with customers with $1-$10 billion and more than $10 billion in lendable assets in the Global Custodian Securities Lending Survey.  (July 2008)
