Executive Vice President
George E. Sullivan is executive vice president and global head of State Street’s Alternative Investment Solutions group, the leading provider to the alternatives market. George oversees strategic direction, global sales, client relationship management, product structuring and operations of State Street’s hedge, private equity, and real estate fund administration businesses worldwide. He is also a member of State Street’s Management Committee, the company’s most senior strategy and policy-making team.
Prior to joining State Street, George spent 15 years at Investors Financial, where he was a member of the firm’s His role was managing director of Global Fund Services; the firm’s largest business unit. Before joining IBT, George held a number of leadership positions at Mellon Bank and State Street Corporation. He has more than 30 years of experience servicing financial products.
George serves on the board of directors for the State Street Technology (Zheijiang) Co Ltd and the Managed Funds Association. He is also on the board of the Boston Private Industry Council (PIC); a public-private partnership that connects business, Boston Public Schools, higher education, government, labor, and community organizations to create innovative workforce and education solutions. George earned his B.A. in economics from Boston College in 1982.
