Mark Keating is an executive vice president and is responsible for Finance, Treasury, Real Estate and Procurement in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). His responsibilities include overall financial management, treasury, budgeting, forecasting, accounting, regulatory reporting, tax, control, facilities planning and strategic financial planning.
Based in London, Mark was named the EMEA chief financial officer (CFO) in November 2015 and is a member of the EMEA Management Committee. In January 2017, he became a member of the Executive Management Board of State Street International Bank GmbH, Germany overseeing all aspects of Finance including Accounting, Controlling, FP&A, Regulatory Reporting / Basel III and Tax. Mark joined State Street in 1990 and has held a number of senior finance, business and strategy-related positions. He has been engaged in State Street’s non-US business growth for nearly 20 years, including 10 years living abroad in Zurich, Luxembourg and London.
Mark has an undergraduate degree from the Boston College Carroll School of Management and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Babson College where he concentrated in international finance and economics graduating summa cum laude.
Mark is a member of the board of directors for State Street Luxembourg S.a.r.l. and State Street International (Ireland) Limited. Mark is also a member of the board of trustees for The Thompson Island Outward Bound Education Center and is an Associate Trustee for Boston College High School.
