Mark Keating is an executive vice president in State Street Global Services. Global Services provides custody, accounting, administration, institutional transfer agency, performance measurement, technology support, and other regulatory, tax, and compliance services. Mark is currently responsible for managing Global Service’s end-to-end revenue cycle from client onboarding thru to collections as well as numerous business development activities. Prior to this role, Mark was the chief financial officer for State Street in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) for over a decade. His responsibilities included overall financial management, treasury, budgeting, forecasting, accounting, regulatory reporting, tax, control, real estate and procurement.
Mark joined State Street in 1990 and has held a number of senior finance, business and strategy-related positions. He was a key leader in State Street’s non-US business development for nearly 20 years, including 12 years living abroad based in Zurich, Luxembourg and London where he was a member of the EMEA Management Committee and the Executive Management Board of State Street International Bank GmbH, Germany.
Mark has an undergraduate degree from the Boston College Carroll School of Management and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Babson College where he concentrated in international finance and economics graduating summa cum laude.
Mark is a member of the board of trustees for The Thompson Island Outward Bound Education Center and is an Associate Trustee for Boston College High School. He is also State Street’s executive sponsor for the firm’s Military Employee and Family Network.
