Mark R. Keating is an executive vice president and is responsible for Finance, Treasury, Real Estate and Procurement in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). His responsibilities include overall financial management, treasury, budgeting, forecasting, accounting, regulatory reporting, tax, control, facilities planning and strategic financial planning. Based in London, Mr. Keating was named the EMEA chief financial officer (CFO) in November 2015 and is a member of the EMEA Management Committee. Mr. Keating joined State Street in 1990 and has held a number of senior finance, business and strategy-related positions. He has been engaged in State Street’s non-US business growth for nearly 20 years including 10 years living abroad in Zurich, Luxembourg and London.
Mr. Keating has an undergraduate degree from the Boston College Carroll School of Management and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Babson College where he concentrated in international finance and economics graduating summa cum laude.
Mr. Keating is a member of the board of directors for several of State Street’s legal entities in Europe and Asia Pacific: State Street Luxembourg S.a.r.l., Investors Trust Holdings Ireland, State Street International (Ireland) Limited, State Street Fund Services (Jersey) Limited, State Street Holdings (Jersey) Limited, State Street Corp Services Mumbai Private Ltd., SSI Search Limited (UK) and was previously a member of the Supervisory Board of State Street Bank International GmbH in Germany. Mr. Keating is also a member of the board of trustees for The Thompson Island Outward Bound Education Center and is an Associate Trustee for Boston College High School.
