SSBEL PILLAR 3 DISCLOSURE STATEMENT
The Pillar 3 disclosure of State Street Bank Europe Limited (SSBEL) is set out in the attached file below. This is in accordance with BIPRU 11 of the Financial Conduct Authorities "Prudential Sourcebook for Banks, Building Societies and Investment Firms". This follows the Capital Requirements Directive which is the framework for implementing the Basel II accord in the European Union.
STATE STREET IN THE UK PILLAR 3 DISCLOSURE - REMUNERATION
The FSA has amended the Prudential Sourcebook for Banks, Building Societies and Investment Firms (BIPRU), and specifically BIPRU 11, to now include a requirement to disclose a firm’s approach to linking remuneration to risk. The Remuneration Code (SYSC 19A) requires certain firms to disclose a series of qualitative and quantitative information relating to remuneration. The FSA Handbook BIPRU 11.3 and BIPRU 11.5.18R sets out what is required under the Pillar 3 requirements.
