Through Corporate Citizenship, we help give less-advantaged people the skills they need to succeed. It’s part of our commitment to the economic well-being of our communities around the world.
In 2015, for the eight consecutive time, federal and state regulators recognized our efforts to build better communities by giving us “outstanding” ratings as part of the US Community Reinvestment Act.
We manage giving programs at 34 sites and 22 countries, in Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe and North America. Throughout these regions, our employees also volunteer on regional committees, identifying needs and partnering with local nonprofits to create meaningful change.
With our Matching Gift Program, we help our employees do more with their charitable donations in three ways:
- GiveMore – matches financial contributions to charitable or educational institutions
- CollectMore – matches fulfilled pledges for fundraising events
- DoMore – provides grants as a match for volunteer efforts with a charitable organization
Another way our employees can give back is through our Giving, Investing, Volunteering by Employees (G.I.V.E.) platform, which allows employees to donate to the charities they want, when they want. Around the world, it brings our people together to support a cause that’s meaningful to them. Whether fighting poverty and hunger, supporting human rights, promoting education or fostering sustainable development, our employees donate their time, energy and money to causes that matter.
Through our Global Outreach volunteer program, we help community organizations draw on the resources and talents of our employees. We engage in the communities where we work, sponsoring charitable fundraising events and contributing to small business and affordable housing investment funds. We’re proud that our team contributed more than 116,000 community outreach hours in 2015.
