Michael Tropeano is a vice president in the Product Management area of State Street’s Wealth Manager Services (WMS) group. In this role, he is responsible for managing product and platform strategies for WMS clients.
Mr. Tropeano has been with State Street since April 2001. He previously managed an Information Technology group responsible for the integration of the group’s Private Client offering. Prior to joining State Street, he worked at Standish, Ayer and Wood, where he was responsible for software development for portfolio accounting, quantitative research and trade processing. He has more than 15 years of experience in the financial services industry, and more than 17 years of experience in software development.
Mr. Tropeano holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting from Boston University and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in finance from Bentley University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a member of the Boston Security Analyst Society.
