We manage giving programs around the world. Across the globe, our employees volunteer on regional committees, identifying needs and partnering with local non-profits to create meaningful change.
Through State Street Foundation, State Street’s charitable arm, we make grants to non-profits and non-governmental organizations in 26 countries. The Foundation’s primary strategic focus areas are education and workforce development.
We believe the most effective way to improve the overall well-being of our communities is to help disadvantaged individuals earn and make a living. By focusing on education and work, we will bring lasting economic benefits to the communities where we live and work.

Our Matching Gifts Program recognizes the charitable contributions made by our employees by monetizing volunteer time (DoMore), matching financial donations (GiveMore) and supporting individual fundraising efforts (CollectMore).
Employees receive two paid days a year to volunteer their time and service in local communities for causes they’re passionate about. Through our volunteer program, we help community organisations draw on the resources and talents of our employees. We also support the communities where we work, sponsoring charitable fundraising events and contributing to small business and affordable housing investment funds.
Employee‐led committees also help us execute our strategy around the world. Opportunities are available for employees to guide State Street Foundation grants, become volunteer ambassadors or join a non-profit Board of Directors.
In Australia, our employees work with NGOs such as Sydney Story Factory, Create Foundation, Food Bank NSW and Conservation Volunteer Australia to give their time and energy to causes that matter through our many volunteering programs.
