Robert Baillie
Head of State Street Canada

Rob Baillie is responsible for State Street’s overall business strategy and operational presence in the Canadian marketplace.

Rob joined State Street in 2013. He has worked in the Canadian financial services industry since 1994, with extensive experience in senior management roles. He came to State Street from Northern Trust Canada, where he was President and CEO. Prior to joining Northern Trust, he was with the Royal Bank of Canada and was the head of Asset Servicing Sales and Relationship Management at RBC Dexia Investor Services Limited.

Rob is involved with various industry associations and advisory boards. He is actively engaged with Sick Children’s Hospital Foundation “Leaders Program” in Toronto and sits on the Board of Governors for Junior Achievement Ontario.

Rob is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario.

 

Andrew Carrington
Head of State Street Global Markets Canada Inc.

Andrew Carrington is responsible for developing State Street Global Markets' equity and fixed income offerings such as Transition Management, as well as Commission Recapture within the Canadian institutional marketplace.

Andrew was previously sales manager for the brokerage. Prior to joining State Street's Global Markets division, he was regional marketing director of State Street Global Advisors Ltd. (Canada) in Vancouver, BC, and was charged with sales and client service for SSGA's institutional clients and prospects throughout Western Canada.

He joined State Street's Investor Services business in 1994. Andrew received his Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree from the University of Guelph.

 

Rose Mark
Senior Vice President, Head of the Global Services Canada Legal

Rose Mark is responsible for the overall legal management of the Global Services Canada business unit. Rose also provides corporate governance and regulatory support to a number of the State Street Canadian legal entities and is a member of State Street Canada’s senior leadership team.

Rose joined State Street in 1995 and was involved in the establishment of State Street’s federal trust company and bank branch in Canada. Prior to joining State Street, she was legal counsel in the legal department of Canada Trust, supporting the trust and custody business.

Rose graduated from the University of Toronto with an Honours Bachelors of Science degree and received her Bachelors of Law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto, Canada.

 

Geoffrey Behm
Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer

Geoffrey Behm joined State Street in 2009 and oversees all finance functions in Canada. He is also part of the Canadian leadership team. In addition to this role, he is the principal officer for the foreign bank branch in Canada and has global responsibility of State Street’s accounting for legal entity transfer pricing.

Geoffrey started his career at Ernst & Young LLP in 1995. He spent 11 years in progressive roles with a focus on financial service clients. In 2006, he joined Home Capital Group Inc. and took on a senior role within the finance function.

Geoffrey holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce from Queen’s University and is a Certified Professional Accountant.

Geoffrey sits on the Board of Directors for five Canadian State Street legal entities. He is also a member of the Board of Directors for the Ronald McDonald House Toronto.

 

Teddy Kardaras
Senior Vice President, Global Operations

Teddy Kardaras leads the Global Transactions , Controls and Banking - Banking & Payments, Risk Monitoring and Money Positions as well as the Global Banking Modernization Program.

Teddy joined State Street Canada in 1992 and her experience spans multiple business lines.  Having worked in Fund Accounting/Client Operations, Cash and FX, Trade Processing and Derivatives, as well as running transformation efforts of the ITOT and Beacon Programs, she is an active advocate of internal mobility within our global organization.

Teddy holds a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce and Finance from the University of Toronto.

 

Angelo Pugliese
Vice President, Global Human Resources

Angelo Pugliese heads Global Human Resources for State Street Canada and the Cayman Islands and is responsible for governance, policy, talent management, total rewards, organizational effectiveness and employee relations. He joined State Street in 2005 and is part of the Canadian leadership team. 

Angelo also has line operations  management experience. Previously, he’s held leadership roles with Duke Energy, AT&T Canada, Sun Life Financial and Dun & Bradstreet.

Angelo graduated from McMaster University with an Honours Bachelor of Arts in economics, and a Masters in Business Administration. He sits on the Board of Directors for the Toronto Financial Services Alliance and chairs the Talent and Executive Education Council.
