Making Life Better
As a global company, we value the experiences, interests and capabilities that make our more than 30,000 employees unique. In France, we have a number of committees and networks established by our employees. These groups help employees come together around a common goal, share their unique perspectives and increase their visibility across the company. They also create opportunities for networking and professional development.
Giving Back to Our Communities
An important part of our long-term success is a strong commitment to our communities and giving back to those who need it most.
A dedicated department develops and oversees our Corporate Citizenship program, including:
- Allocating grants to associations involved in education and employability
- Funding events in partnership with these associations
- Mobilizing employees to participate in volunteer programs
Local Community Support Program Committees
Our Paris committee has six dedicated individuals who manage our partner relationships. In 2014, we were proud to distribute $100,000 in grants to local associations with a focus on education and local workforce development. Some of the local organizations we have supported include:
- SAMU Social
- SOS Village d'Enfants
- Fondation d'Auteuil
- École à l'hôpital
- ESAT Regain
Every year, each State Street employee has the opportunity to take two paid volunteer days. In the past, we’ve participated in a variety of charity events, such as races, collection of food and clothing, and cultural outings with under-privileged children.
