Dagmar Kamber Borens
Senior Vice President, Country Head Switzerland, Member of the Executive Management Board, State Street Bank International GmbH

Dagmar Kamber Borens is a senior vice president and member of the Executive Management Board of State Street Bank International GmbH. She is the country head for State Street Bank International GmbH Zurich since August 2021.

Dagmar spent more than 17 years at UBS AG, where she held a number of senior management positions in Zurich Branch, London and Singapore, including group chief financial officer for Asia Pacific. She was also the chief operating officer and member of the Executive Committee of the Swiss Universal Bank at Credit Suisse AG, where she was responsible for the Divisional Strategy, IT and Operations, Digitalization, Data Protection, Banking Products, and Marketing and Sponsoring. Most recently, Dagmar was the designated chief executive officer and country head of Quintet Private Bank Switzerland AG.

She is also a member of the Board of Directors and Chair of the Audit Committee of MCH Group Ltd, a public listed, international live marketing company (e.g. ART Basel).

Dagmar is a qualified lawyer and holds a doctoral degree in law (Dr. iur.) from the University of Basel, where she also earned her law degree.

 

Daniel Liechti, CFA
Managing Director, Chief Operating Officer, State Street Bank International GmbH, Munich, Zurich Branch

Daniel Liechti has been Chief Operating Officer with the Zurich Branch of State Street Bank International GmbH, Munich, since October 2008. In this capacity he is responsible for the entire operational organization.  His career at the Branch in Zurich began in November 1999 as Head of Performance & Analytics Europe and Investment Compliance Switzerland.

In 2005, he moved to Boston and worked as Strategy Consultant within the Global Strategy Group at State Street’s headquarters. In October 2006, he became Head of Operations of State Street Associates Currency Management.  He came back to Switzerland on 1 October 2008 and was nominated as Chief Operating Officer of Zurich Branch.

Prior to State Street he worked at Credit Suisse Asset Management for 6 years. He was responsible for the customer reporting of Global Custody clients and Asset Management clients. He holds a Master Degree in economics and business administration of the University of Berne (lic. rer. pol.) and is CFA charter holder.

 

Paolo Sismondi
Managing Director, Head Depositary Bank, State Street Bank International GmbH, Munich, Zurich Branch

Paolo Sismondi joined State Street on 1 August 2009 as Head of Risk and Compliance of State Street Bank International GmbH, Munich, Zurich Branch.

On 1 September 2014 he assumed the role of Head Depositary Bank for the Swiss Branch and became member of the Swiss Management Committee. In this capacity, he is responsible for the safekeeping of the fund’s assets in custody, the issue and redemption of units, the payments and income distributions on behalf of the funds, the verification of the net asset value and for the compliance with the Investment Collective Schemes Act (CISA) as well as with the fund regulations.

Prior to joining the Swiss Branch of State Street Bank International GmbH, Munich, he worked at Swiss Re Asset Management for 13 years in various roles such as risk, compliance, regulatory and CIO office. Paolo Sismondi holds a master’s degree in business administration from Bocconi University in Milan.

 

Reto Tschaeppeler
Vice President, Head of Client Reporting & Analytics, State Street Bank International GmbH, Munich, Zurich Branch

Reto Tschaeppeler joined State Street Bank International GmbH, Munich, Zurich Branch in November 1999. As a member of the Swiss Management Committee, he is responsible for investment analytics and reporting servicing that services institutional clients in Switzerland and other European countries.  

He has 22 years of professional experience in the investment analytics and fund industry. During his time at State Street he held various roles which included responsibility for Depotbank, Investment Compliance Monitoring and Transfer Agency. From 2012 to 2016 he worked at Complementa Investment-Controlling, then a State Street Group owned company specialized on servicing pension funds and asset owners, as Chief Administration Officer, then as Head of Reporting & Analytics. Prior to State Street he worked at Credit Suisse Asset Management for 3 years in a team responsible for the customer reporting of Global Custody clients.

Reto Tschaeppeler holds a master’s degree in economics and business administration of the University of Berne (lic. rer. pol.) and is a certified financial analyst and asset manager (eidg. dipl. Finanzanalytiker und Vermögensverwalter).
