Michelle Auchincloss
Executive Vice President, Head of Strategy and Consultancy

Michelle Auchincloss is executive vice president and head of Strategy and Consultancy for State Street. In her role, Michelle leads the development of our corporate enterprise strategy to maximize the company’s long-term growth, in partnership with the Executive Committee. She also leads a team of internal consultants implementing strategic priorities and setting firm-wide standards for execution.

Michelle joined State Street from Bain & Company where she served as an Associate Partner. Michelle’s experience spans financial services, including financial technology, wealth management and payments. She has advised leading financial investors and corporations on a range of capabilities including transaction due diligence, growth strategy and performance improvement. Prior to joining Bain & Company, Michelle held several strategy roles at Fidelity Investments. She started her career in investment banking at Deutsche Bank.

Michelle co-chairs the Finance Talent Leadership Council and sponsors the talent pipeline programs for our Finance division.

Michelle serves on the Board of Directors for the Boston Private Industry Council. She holds a Master of Business Administration from MIT Sloan School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in management, magna cum laude, from Boston College.
