Andreas Niklaus
Member of the Executive Management Board

Andreas Niklaus is Senior Vice President and Country Head in Germany.

He is member of the Executive Management Board of State Street Bank International GmbH responsible for the Depotbank and Custody Services business units.

He joined State Street in 2003 to manage the Depotbank and successfully integrated Deutsche Bank’s Security Services business into State Street Bank International GmbH. Andreas has served as Chief Operating Officer since 2006, and was most recently responsible for Global Services in Germany, Austria, Netherlands and the Nordics, and served as the European head of Depositary Services.

His career began with an apprenticeship within the savings and loans association, followed by a degree in banking at the Frankfurt School of Finance. Andreas managed various functions within Deutsche Bank's Securities Services division including Corporate Actions and Sales and Account Management for Institutional clients.
