Our digital asset network provides you with a seamless experience for both traditional and digital assets, enabling you to store digital assets, starting with bitcoin and ether, in a segregated safekeeping account.
Digital cash
We are a founding member of Fnality International, a wholesale payment solutions group providing a digital cash asset, backed by central bank deposits. Our work with Fnality and with central banks on their Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) projects will help build the institutional cash payment infrastructure structure of the future.
Tokenization
We have invested in Securrency and created a range of tokenization solutions including:
- Proof of concepts for tokenizing fund shares with asset managers
- Automating the over-the-counter lifecycle of foreign exchange non-deliverable forwards
- Digitized trade processing on our front-to-back platform, State Street Alpha delivering aggregated data, analytics and real-time insights
Trading
We use our e-trading experience to build a cryptocurrency trading infrastructure that is scalable, resilient, secure and enables capital-efficient trading. Our Foreign Exchange (FX) trading software platform, Currenex®, is a leading provider of technology and FX liquidity, helping you navigate the institutional cryptocurrency markets effectively. Currenex provides the infrastructure for Pure Digital, a United Kingdom-based over-the-counter crypto trading platform for institutional investors, and offers your digital asset trading operations FX liquidity that is on par with traditional markets.
