Christy Strawbridge
Executive Vice President, Global Clients Division North America Regional Lead
Christy Strawbridge is executive vice president and a part of the Global Clients Division at State Street. As the Regional Co-Lead for North America, she and her team support our largest Asset Managers, alongside client experience data, and Culture Centricity initiatives. She is accountable for internal and external executive engagement, ensuring an optimal service experience and a collective partnership for strategic initiatives.
Christy joined State Street in February 2017 as chief administrative officer to the COO. She provided connectivity between the Finance and Technology business units and established the 3-year strategic plan. She was appointed to the role of transformation director, running reporting and analytics for transformation and change management programs across State Street. She partnered with the CEO and Corporate Function teams to drive the annual goal setting and performance summaries for the State Street Board of Directors.
Prior to joining State Street, Christy spent 12 years at Goldman Sachs in Fixed Income and Equity Operations located in New York and Boston. She managed a variety of teams, driving process optimization for improved client experience, employee satisfaction, and overall benefit to the firm. She implemented a new hiring strategy bringing Engineering students to Operations, adding scale, automation, and control to the organization. She harmonized global strategies and implemented outsourcing and low cost location moves across the Equities Operations division.
Christy earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Boston University in 2001 and is a Trustee for Life with the Neighborhood House Charter School in Dorchester, Massachusetts.
