Katarzyna Kmiecik

Katarzyna (Kasia) Kmiecik is the Chief Operating Officer of State Street International GmbH, Munich, Zurich Branch since October 2023. In this capacity she is responsible for the local Global Delivery organization and heads up the Switzerland Client Services team. She is also a member of the Swiss Management Committee.

Kasia joined State Street Bank International GmbH, Poland Branch in July 2009 and has since held multiple leadership positions across Securities Valuations, Market Data Services, Operational Risk and Chief Administration Office in both the United Kingdom, United States and Poland State Street offices. She spent the last 5 years as the Head of EMEA Global Business Integration where she was instrumental in improving the client onboarding process through both operational excellence and strategic transformation initiatives focusing on EMEA client base.

Kasia holds a master’s degree in business administration and management accounting from University of Economics (Krakow, Poland), a bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Affairs from Andrzej Frycz Modrzewski University (Krakow, Poland) and the Investment Operations Certificate from the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.
