James K. E. Fagan
Senior Vice President and Member of the Executive Management Board for State Street Bank International GmbH

James K. E. Fagan is senior vice president and serves as Treasurer of State Street Bank International GmbH. He is responsible for the oversight and management of corporate investments, treasury-related liabilities (aggregate deposits), interest rate risk (Asset and Liability Management), treasury collateral management, and liquidity risk management for the bank. James is also responsible for Global Credit Finance for State Street Bank International GmbH extending credit to the firm’s broad range of institutional clients and oversees the bank’s Leveraged Loan investments.

James began his career at State Street Corporation and has been with us for 24 years. He spent 10 years working in Boston and the last 14 years in Munich. Before his appointment to Treasurer of State Street Bank International GmbH in 2011, he held roles within State Street’s Global Markets division. In this capacity, Mr. Fagan provided capital-raising and liquidity strategies for clients in the United States, Europe and the emerging markets of Eastern Europe and the Middle East.

James attended Phillips Academy and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Kenyon College and a Master of Business Administration degree from both The Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and the WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management in Vallendar Germany.
