Mark Wightman
Executive Vice President, Head of Transformation

Mark Wightman is executive vice president and head of Transformation for State Street, overseeing our strategic programs that optimize business processes and leverage advanced technologies to improve efficiency, reduce costs and support revenue growth. In his role, Mark has oversight responsibility for the development, support and execution of a unified, enterprise-wide NextGen transformation program with artificial intelligence (AI) as a key enabler. He works closely with our technology teams to maximize our AI investments to ensure alignment with our enterprise-wide transformation priorities and empower our business and employee effectiveness. His work spans innovation, modernization, and cultural change, embedding agility, efficiency and a client-first mindset across the organization.

Based in London, Mark brings more than 30 years of experience in financial services, consulting, fintech and business-led technology enabled transformation to State Street. Most recently, he served as partner and international transformation lead for Wealth & Asset Management at Ernst & Young, where he led major transformation programs for global asset managers and asset owners globally. Previously, Mark held senior leadership roles at SunGard (FIS) and SuperDerivatives.

Mark has a Bachelor and Master of Arts from Oxford University.
