Ann Fogarty
Executive Vice President, Head of Global Delivery and Chief Operating Officer of Investment Services

Ann Fogarty is executive vice president, Head of Global Delivery and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Investment Services at State Street. As head of Global Delivery, Ann is responsible for leading operations for all services that span across Custody and Shared Services; Alpha and Middle Office Operations; Investment Analytics; Accounting and Fund Administration; Alternative Services and Business Integration; Transfer Agency and Fund Order Services; Enterprise Billing Operations; and Global Delivery Transformation.

She also oversees the day-to-day operations of all Alpha services, as well as end-to-end responsibility for all client onboarding and implementation activities across Investment Services in her role as COO. Ann is a member of the Executive Committee, the company’s senior leadership team. Additionally, Ann chairs the Supervisory Board of State Street Bank International GmbH, the firm’s European Bank.

Previously, Ann was an executive committee member at BNY Mellon with responsibility for leading the global operations organization and supporting every stage of the client investment lifecycle, overseeing a team of more than 20,000.

Ann held a number of global leadership roles at BNY Mellon. She has extensive senior management experience of large international funds, custody and treasury services sectors. As head of Europe, Middle East and Africa Fund Accounting services, she was responsible for BNY Mellon’s Fund Services’ Operations in Ireland, United Kingdom, Luxembourg and Germany. She was also Managing Director of BNY Mellon Fund Services Ireland Ltd., providing Fund Accounting and Transfer Agency services to Mutual Fund, Exchange Traded Fund and Alternative Fund clients.

She is a Board Member of SIFMA, the leading trade association for broker-dealers, investment banks and asset managers operating in the US and global capital markets. Ann is also a Board Member of G{Code}, an organization that provides technical training and a co-living, learning, and working space for women and nonbinary people of color to prepare them for careers in technology.

As a proud Irish native, Ann has served on various committees of The Irish Funds Industry Association and is a founding member of the Irish chapter of the 30% Club, which seeks to improve the proportion of women in senior business roles.

Ann holds a Master of Arts degree in human resources and is a graduate member of the Marketing Institute in Ireland.
