Elizabeth Lynn
Executive Vice President, Global Head of Investor Relations

Elizabeth Lynn is executive vice president and global head of Investor Relations. In this role, Liz is responsible for managing relationships with the investment community, including State Street’s shareholders. With more than 20 years of experience in banking, Liz interacts with Wall Street on a daily basis, communicating our strategy and business performance to research analysts and institutional investors. She provides advice and support to the Board of Directors, Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer and Executive Committee in matters related to the equity market, including the quarterly results process and other financial and strategic communications.

Liz joined us in May 2024 from Citigroup where she was Managing Director and Chief Finance Officer for Citigroup’s banking division, responsible for supporting Investment Banking and the Corporate Bank. She was also a member of the Board of Directors of Citicorp North America, Inc. (Citigroup’s primary non-Bank Chain Legal Entity) responsible for approving transactions on behalf of Banking. Prior to this role, Liz was Head of Investor Relations at Citigroup, responsible for managing relationships with the investment community, as well as helping to develop disclosures to enhance market knowledge of company strategy and financial results. Before joining Investor Relations in 2013, Liz held a held a variety of positions at Citi and its joint venture with Morgan Stanley (Morgan Stanley Smith Barney), interfacing with clients and investors. She began her career at Citi in Equity Research in 2001.

Liz is a member of “Leading Women,” a group of senior female executive mentors at State Street. She received her Masters in Business Administration degree from New York University and her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
