Scott Newman
Executive Vice President, Country Head Poland and Head of Global Delivery for State Street Bank International
Scott Newman is executive vice president and country head for State Street in Poland, as well as head of Global Delivery for State Street Bank International. In his role as country head for Poland, Scott is responsible for leading the local management team, defining and executing strategy, business development, and legal entity governance. State Street in Poland was established in November 2007, has grown to 6,500 employees representing 16 percent of the global workforce and provides investment fund accounting and a full range of back- and middle-office products and services, supporting all business lines of State Street.
In his role as head of Global Delivery for State Street Bank International, Scott represents Global Delivery at the extended State Street Bank International executive management board and is responsible for service delivery, client retention, the continued simplification of the operating model and regulatory engagement.
Prior to Poland, Scott was based in Munich where he led the research and establishment of the Krakow office, as well as held relationship and project management roles.
Scott joined us in 2003 through the acquisition of Deutsche Bank’s global custody business, at which time he was based in Frankfurt, and worked extensively on the acquisition and integration. At Deutsche Bank, Scott held roles in custody client service, product development and the project management office.
He holds a bachelor of arts in business administration and is fluent in German and conversational in Polish.
