Arindam Banerrji
Executive Vice President and Country Head, India

Arindam is Executive Vice President and the Country Head for State Street India. Arindam has the overall responsibility for the management of all operations of our India offices based across Bengaluru, Chennai, Coimbatore, Hyderabad, Mumbai, and Pune, which comprise of around 19,000 employees. He oversees this workforce and delivery of critical services and processes across our businesses, in partnership with global business and corporate functional leaders.

Arindam is also responsible for the governance and oversight for areas of compliance within the country regulatory framework. He is the Chair of the State Street India Management Committee and the India Risk and Compliance Committee.

Arindam has over three decades of diverse, cross-functional, and global experience, with a deep understanding of the financial services sector and its functioning. He has held senior directorship roles on various boards, with a focus on delivering governance and fiduciary commitments, and has also been an operating committee member in some of these leadership roles.

Arindam is a strong advocate of fostering a culture of employee engagement and collaboration. He is equally passionate about building and managing inclusive teams and has a proven track record of improving diversity in the organizations and teams he leads. Arindam is personally involved with various charitable institutions supporting the education of girls as well as working with street children in India.
