Hiroshi Kobayashi

Hiroshi Kobayashi was appointed as director and vice chairman, State Street Trust and Banking Co., Ltd. effective 29 August, 2024. He is also Country Head for State Street Group in Japan (ex. State Street Investment Management).

Prior to joining State Street, Mr. Kobayashi was with Credit Suisse for 18 years with senior roles across trading and risk management in Tokyo and Singapore. His last position with Credit Suisse was APAC Chief Risk Officer located in Singapore.

Prior to Credit Suisse, Mr. Kobayashi worked at Goldman Sachs Tokyo and Bankers Trust Tokyo as a fixed income derivatives trader.
