Manoj Bohra is executive vice president and chief data and AI officer at State Street, leading the firm's global strategy for enterprise data, artificial intelligence (AI), and advanced analytics. In this role, he is responsible for building the data and AI platforms that power innovation, strengthen risk and operational intelligence, and enable scalable AI adoption across the organization and its client solutions.

Manoj is recognized for building enterprise-scale data and AI platforms that enable global financial institutions to operationalize AI in complex, highly regulated environments.

He brings more than two decades of experience leading enterprise technology, data, and AI transformation initiatives across global financial services organizations. His work has focused on modernizing large-scale data platforms, operationalizing machine learning through enterprise machine learning operations (MLOps) frameworks and enabling organizations to translate advanced analytics into measurable business outcomes.

Prior to joining State Street, Manoj served as managing director at Google Cloud, where he advised C-suite leaders across major financial institutions on large-scale data modernization and AI transformation initiatives. His work included helping organizations design cloud-native data platforms, operationalize machine learning and generative AI capabilities, and deploy large language models (LLMs) and emerging agentic AI architectures to support use cases across risk management, regulatory compliance, client intelligence, and operational automation. He also worked with institutions to establish governance frameworks for responsible AI adoption.

Earlier, Manoj spent over two decades at Bank of America in several senior leadership roles including senior vice president and managing director. In these roles he led global teams responsible for enterprise data platforms, AI/ML infrastructure, and cloud transformation initiatives supporting hundreds of thousands of users across the bank’s global operations. During his tenure he helped architect and scale one of the largest AI and data science platforms and built foundational enterprise data infrastructure enabling advanced analytics at scale.

Manoj holds several U.S. patents related to data security, distributed data architectures, and scalable data processing.

He frequently speaks on enterprise AI strategy, generative AI adoption, responsible AI governance, and modern data platforms within the financial services industry.

Manoj holds a Master of Science in technology management from Columbia University, a Master of Business Administration in finance from the University of Mumbai, and a Bachelor of Science from Jodhpur University.
