Tadhg Young is executive vice president and head of Global Clients Division.

Tadhg is responsible for managing our largest and most complex clients around the world. In this capacity, he manages a team of seasoned relationship executives, operational experts and business analysts to support our clients to execute their business strategy. Partnering with CEOs and CIOs of top-tier firms across the globe, Tadhg ensures we deliver a “One State Street” experience for our clients to leverage the full breadth of our capabilities.

Prior to assuming his current position, Tadhg held the role of country head of Ireland. In this role, Tadhg oversaw the management of the largest fund services provider in Ireland, servicing assets over US$1.7 trillion, managed by some of the world’s leading investment management firms and financial houses. Before that, Tadhg was State Street Ireland’s chief operating officer.

Prior to joining us in 2007, Tadhg was head of Trustee, Custody and Middle Office Servicing with IBT Ireland (acquired by State Street in 2007). He previously held various senior management roles with Allianz Global Investors, Ireland and Dresdner Bank in Ireland.

During his time in Ireland, Tadhg held a number of industry roles including: member of the Irish Finance Ministry’s Industry Advisory Group, chaired the Funds Working Group — a collaboration of key participants from the public and private sector critical to the success of the Irish funds industry, served on the Irish Funds Council, chaired Irish Funds and was a board member of Financial Services Ireland.

He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland and a member of the Irish Taxation Institute.
