David Eshenower
Executive Vice President, Head of State Street Alpha^®

David Eshenower is executive vice president and head of State Street Alpha^®, State Street’s global front-to-back platform for institutional investors. In this role, David sets the strategic direction for Alpha, oversees product and business performance, drives the evolution of its integrated service and operating model, and leads firm-wide transformation initiatives that position Alpha as a market-leading solution.

Since joining State Street in 2006, David has held several senior leadership roles. He served as head of Alpha Services, overseeing Middle Office Services, Data Services, Alpha Professional Services and End-to-End Client Solution Design. He also served as head of Business Operations – Americas, with global responsibility for Middle Office Product Strategy, Service Delivery and Data Services. Earlier in his tenure, David managed strategic client relationships for State Street Investment Manager Services, supporting key institutional partnerships.

Prior to joining State Street, David was head of Global Investment Services and Division Information Officer at Evergreen Investments, a subsidiary of Wachovia Corporation. There, he led Front Office Services, Technology, Investment Performance, Analytics, Risk and Business Operations across mutual fund, institutional and wealth segments.

With over 30 years of industry experience, David began his career at Meridian Bancorp, progressing through leadership roles across front, middle and back-office functions, trust services, finance and technology. His diverse background has shaped strategic business and technology models across Meridian, CoreStates, First Union/Evergreen, Wachovia/Evergreen and now State Street Alpha.
