Daniel Liechti has been chief operating officer of State Street Bank International GmbH, Munich, Zurich Branch since October 2008. In this capacity he is responsible for the entire operational organization.

Daniel’s career at State Street began in November 1999 as head of Performance & Analytics Europe and Investment Compliance Switzerland. In 2005, he moved to Boston and worked as a strategy consultant within the Global Strategy Group at State Street’s headquarters. In October 2006, he became head of operations of State Street Associates Currency Management. He came back to Switzerland on 1 October 2008 and was nominated as chief operating officer of the Zurich Branch.

Prior to State Street he worked at Credit Suisse Asset Management for 6 years. He was responsible for the customer reporting of Global Custody clients and Asset Management clients.

Daniel holds a master degree in economics and business administration from the University of Berne (lic. rer. pol.) and is a CFA charter holder.
