Keri Gormley is executive vice president and head of Enterprise Operational Risk Management. Keri is a member of the executive leadership team for Risk & Compliance, reporting directly to the Chief Risk Officer.

In this role, Keri is responsible for designing and implementing a governance structure and program that integrates the principles of effective risk management into the daily operations of State Street. Additionally, she is responsible for establishing frameworks designed to improve non-financial risk management, strengthen internal controls and enable profitable growth within the organization’s risk appetite.

Keri is a global transformational risk and compliance executive with over 25 years of experience holding executive roles at multinational financial services firms. Prior to joining us in 2023, Keri was head of Operational Risk Management Foundational Programs at Wells Fargo. Her career as a transformational operational risk executive includes progressively challenging roles with Merrill Lynch, Barclays and Bank of New York. While at Bank of New York, Keri was responsible for establishing a best-in-class assurance function stressing the company’s ability to manage operational risk in line with regulatory expectations.

Outside of work, Keri is active in the community and donates her time to assist innovative start-ups establish credible business cases to gain funding.

Keri earned a bachelor’s degree from Stonehill College in business administration and accounting.
