Martine Bond
Head of State Street Global Markets in EMEA
Martine Bond is executive vice president and head of State Street Global Markets in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Her remit encompasses FX trading, securities finance, FICC repo trading, transition management and currency management. The key focus is on being a trusted partner to provide industry-leading asset intelligence, liquidity and financing solutions to clients. Additionally, Martine is responsible for our GlobalLink electronic trading solutions and serves as interim head of State Street Digital,SM our division focused on digital assets and technologies.
Martine joined us to oversee the operation and expansion of core trading and clearing assets including Currenex®, FX Connect®, FundConnect®, GovEx®, SwapEx®, and the Futures and OTC Clearing business. She was formerly responsible for trading and clearing within State Street Global Exchange.
Prior to joining us, she worked at Morgan Stanley, where she ran the FX Prime Brokerage and Clearing businesses, and the FX Gateway multi-manager investment portal. Martine was global COO for the Foreign Exchange and Emerging Markets business, where she was responsible for developing and implementing key strategic business growth opportunities for the business. From 2004 to 2009, Martine led the FX Prime Brokerage business for JPMorgan where she was responsible for developing and executing core product strategies for alternative clients. Between 2000 and 2004, she managed the European Equities Client Management team.
Martine studied business management at Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane, Australia.
