David Parker
Executive Vice President, Senior Operations Officer

David Parker is an executive vice president and senior operations officer at State Street. In this role, he manages the end-to-end service delivery for one of the firm's significant clients, overseeing global operations, technology strategy, and transformation initiatives to deliver scalable, efficient, and client-focused solutions, while driving modernization, operational resilience, and strategic partnerships that support client outcomes and long-term business success.

Previously, David was responsible for the outsourced Middle Office operation for our United States West Region Investment Managers, Asset Owners, and Insurance Clients.

David joined us in 2023 from Accenture where he was managing director, a member of the North America Operations Leadership Team, and Client Lead for several Financial Services clients. His most recent role was managing a global recovery program in the Anti-Money Laundering/Know Your Customer area for a major US bank. This followed roles in Europe, the United Kingdom, and India.

With over 20 years of leadership experience in financial services, David has led both delivery and transformation functions covering most asset classes. Operational management experience includes the full front-to-back process, from trade support through settlement, reconciliation, and fund accounting. His transformation experience includes building the derivative fund accounting hub for a major US bank, implementing a new trading platform, and building an operating center in India for 2,000 employees.

David obtained his bachelor’s degree from the University of Leeds in the UK in accounting and finance.
