Joerg Ambrosius
Executive Vice President, President of Investment Services

Joerg Ambrosius is president of Investment Services, State Street's largest business, and a member of State Street's Executive Committee, the company’s senior leadership team.

Joerg is responsible for the overall strategy, performance, and growth of the global Investment Services business. He leads all aspects of the business, including sales, client service and relationship management, and product development and operations, with a focus on delivering exceptional outcomes and a differentiated client experience while achieving the firm's financial and strategic objectives. In addition, he oversees our enterprise marketing function, helping shape the firm's growth strategy and deepen client engagement across its businesses.

Prior to this role, Joerg served as chief commercial officer and head of International Business, where he was instrumental in strengthening the firm's global sales and client management capabilities, while helping clients achieve their strategic goals. He also served on the Supervisory Board of State Street Bank International GmbH, the firm's European bank.

With more than 30 years of experience in financial services, Joerg has built a distinguished track record of driving growth, leading large-scale organizations and helping institutional investors navigate an evolving market landscape. Before joining State Street, he held a variety of leadership positions at Deutsche Bank AG in Frankfurt and London.

Joerg earned a degree in business administration from the University of Siegen.
