Lochiel Crafter is executive vice president and head of Asia Pacific, responsible for driving and coordinating the strategic positioning of State Street in the region. He also represents the region as a board member on State Street International Holdings. In his role, he oversees all country heads, functions and businesses in the region. Additionally, he leads and develops Sales, Relationship Management and Client Service teams ensuring strategic alignment between sales effort and our long-term business goals, while looking to develop new relationships with strategic clients in the region. Loch is based in Sydney, Australia.

Previously, Loch was with State Street Investment Management for over 20 years, first as chief investment officer in Australia and subsequently as chief investment officer, Asia Pacific. In 2018, Loch became head of the Global Institutional Group, responsible for State Street Investment Management institutional distribution efforts across the globe. In 2023, he then became head of the Global Client Coverage Group, unifying State Street Investment Management sales teams into a single client facing team. Loch was also part of the State Street Investment Management Operating and Executive Management Group.

Loch holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of CFA Institute. He received a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Science with First Class Honors from the University of New South Wales.
