Chief Technology Officer, Global Technology Services

Andrew Zitney is executive vice president and chief technology officer (CTO) for Global Technology Services at State Street. He is responsible for infrastructure technology, engineering and operations, enterprise architecture, and end user experience. He is focused on developing a technology strategy that enables our businesses' mission with security, resiliency and availability built in by design – thus creating an environment that accelerates innovation for our customers and employees.

Before joining us, Andrew was CTO of McKesson Corporation for four and a half years and was responsible for enterprise architecture, strategy and infrastructure technology platforms. He drove the technology transformation modernizing the environments, while delivering a hybrid cloud and developer platform leveraged across the enterprise. He implemented McKesson LabZ for a flexible and secure environment enabling innovation and agile delivery.

Andrew also held the enterprise CTO position at Allstate, leading architecture, infrastructure and technology innovation with Allstate Technology & Strategic Ventures. At Allstate, he modernized the way they delivered products and services through agile development methodologies, founding the CompoZed labs environments used within Allstate.

Prior to Allstate, in 2011 he was at PayPal as the vice president of platform engineering and operations, and between 2004 and 2011 he was the corporate and commercial banking CTO for JPMorgan Chase.

Andrew has a Bachelor of Arts degree in business finance from Capital University. He is a veteran of the United States Military Army 101st Airborne Division.
