Caroline Arnold is executive vice president, chief data officer and chief information officer for State Street Global Markets and Corporate Systems. In her role, Caroline is focused on positioning State Street to compete and win in a data-driven marketplace; increasing State Street Global Markets’ margins, market share and client satisfaction through technical product innovation; and enabling our workplace goals by improving corporate system user experience and increasing the productivity and satisfaction of corporate teams.

Before joining us in late 2022, Caroline held managing director roles at Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, and most recently led Bank of America’s Enterprise Technology and Enterprise Data and Data Science Platforms at Bank of America. While at Morgan Stanley, Caroline’s team built the auction platform for the innovative Google initial public offering in under eight weeks, for which they won the Wall Street Technology Innovation award.

Caroline obtained her bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley. She is also the author of Small Move, Big Change, a book about how the power of marginal behavioral changes can lead to better health, relationships, career success, happiness and lasting transformation.

Small Move, Big Change was published in the United States by Viking/Penguin and worldwide in 17 languages and 32 countries.
