Kartikesh Herur is executive vice president and chief information officer for State Street Alpha® and Investment Services Technology. In this role, Kartik is the technology executive for Alpha and responsible for technology platforms servicing Asset Managers, Asset Owners, Alternatives and Insurance segments, and client-facing data and digital experience. He has more than 25 years of software development and technology experience. 

Kartik joined State Street in 1996. During his career with us, Kartik has held leadership positions in technology — driving solutions for client-facing products and services across back-office, middle-office and data management solutions.

Kartik holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in computer science from the University of Mysore, India. He also serves on the board of the Boston Chapter of Pratham.
